Staff is knowledgeable and experienced.. They do not try and up sale you and they provide excellent customer service. I did not plan to drop off so I didn’t have a ride and they made sure I was able to get back home and continue my day.. really upstanding group of people
My first visit to Aamco was in 2001 w/my 1989 Acura Transmission was not working. Excellent work was done on this car. Traded this car in 1997.
My second visit was in 2011 with my 2004 Mazda transmission was not working. Excellent work was done on this car. Traded car in 2013. Dealership was surprised car was still running well.
My daughter 2004 Honda Pilot transmission stop working in 2014 and again the work done on this truck was great! The truck is still running well today. I truly recommend Aamco at this location. I have never been disappointed with the SUPERB JOB they have done. I rate them as 5 Star!!!

As a physician I need my car since I am always on call. I have been bringing my Jetta since last year and you all have always treated me right. Thanks for fixing my brakes, no more squealing or shaking.
I have taken my cars to Aamco for the last six months. Last month they did a brake job on my car and my car no longer makes noise when pushing the brakes. I get all my maintenance work here for my two cars. I like them to be honest about what they need to buy. They do not try to sell what you do not need. I like to change my oil here because they also check all my fluids and inform me if I need any other work for my car. Excellent place to bring your car, they will take good care of you if your car.

Ash and his team were very professional and gave me a couple options for service during my visit. Lance in specific provided descriptive details on the benefits and drawbacks of choosing one service package over the other. I am very impressed by their service - it was timely, competitive, and overall trusting.
My car died on 610 and I was able to coast off the highway and right into their driveway. That was a piece of good luck for me! Even though they were very busy, they were able to quickly diagnose my problem and give me a solid estimate for the work. They kept me informed and finished the work that same day. They even waited past closing for me because they knew I needed the car back that day. Very knowledgeable staff. Great customer service.
I've had two vehicles serviced here for the past 5 years and I couldn't be more satisfied, every is so nice and friendly not to mention talented I give these guys 10 stars
Took 3 days to get my vehicle back from them but my 2013 Silverado transmission is definitely not leaking any more my transmission was only leaking and since I do my own oil change I was able to catch it before any real damaged was made.

Good transmission rebuild experience First thing is first: if your automatic transmission is not working right, you just need to accept that you're going to have to spend at least $1800 on repairs. So many people cannot fathom this, but if you've ever worked on a transmission, you would understand. After 172000 miles, my '98 V6 accord needed a transmission rebuild. Coincidentally, my dad's Honda needed one too. We each got roughly equal estimates from our dealerships for the work. I went to this AAMCO instead & paid half the price my dad did, and mine even needed more parts replaced. I know my cars; I'm confident I would know if these guys were trying to pull something. I do all my own wrenching usually; I just don't have the tools or time to do a transmission or engine swap. I could see & feel what parts were bad, and they identified exactly what I did. They even showed me the defective parts, and yes, I know they were from my car. I talked to the same guy throughout the process, and he was very informative and polite. They gave me a good estimate range for my make/model and a more precise estimate once they did the tear-down & inspection. It was finished on time (less than 5 business days) as promised, and still drives like new after a few oil changes
Great Experience with Honest, Fair, Helpful People. I'm a new graduate living completely on my own means and had paid only liability insurance on my vehicle, so when I got into a little fender bender that left my car whining and shuddering whenever I made <120° right turns , I was as distraught and apprehensive as a new mother with my injured child. I took my Xterra to AAMCO because of all of the great reviews, and Chuck was unbelievably courteous, understanding, and helpful. He looked over my car and gave me the full gamut of options on how to approach my repairs with utmost consideration for cost-efficiency before I even needed to bring up my living situation. Most of all, he went ahead and pried open my fender as much as he could so that I'd have a greater range of motion for turning without asking for any fees, and even apologized for not being able to do more on the spot! Little did I know that his tweak was all I needed to drive normally and smoothly without forking over thousands for repairs!!! I can say with utmost confidence that I trust him and his business to be on my side and give me 100% support. In fact, if my physicians could be anywhere near as advocating as he is, life would be pretty awesome! It was the very least I could do to sit down and write this review for them, and I will take all of my business with them in the future.
This is a fantastic shop. I've been using auto repair shops in the Midtown Houston area since 1994 and this business is the best one I have found. I'm a Engineer, have been in a lot of shops over the years, and am familar with mechanical things - please support this local business. We need places like this in our community. They will work with you to properly repair your vehicle.
Great job as usual. Thanks guys. As a single woman I need car mechanics who are reliable, competent and trustworthy, and this is the place to find all three. For over four years I have been receiving their personalized approach from the staff at AAMCO. They treat you with respect. Recently I planned to drive my '95 Jeep to New Mexico. I took the Jeep to them because I knew when I left for my trip, I could be confident it would be roadworthy. James walked me through each step in the process--needed repairs, financial and future maintenance suggestions. A well run business such as this is no fluke. It requires a consistent, dedicated staff and a great boss. Keep up the good work Chuck. Your customers appreciate it.
Nothing but good things to say about Brandon and his team. Everyone was professional and courteous in every way. The transmission failed in my Jeep. My extended warranty is with Route 66 (a good company) and AAMCO is preferred shop. Right up front I was told this would be lengthy process both because of the failure (time it takes to get another transmission) and because of working with the insurance (Route 66). Candor in communications keeps expectations real. Brandon negotiated with Route 66 fairly serving both AAMCO and me. In the end I was out a few hundred dollars for a several thousand dollar repair. Transmission problems are big ticket, big stress items. And they do other stuff, too. Go to this shop, let this team take care of your needs. I am confident that you will be pleased that you did.

The staff was very helpful and "honest", which is very hard to find in a mechanic these days. Big kudos to Winton. His knowledge of my vehicle was evident, and his presence brought me comfort and safety in leaving my vehicle. Thanks to the entire staff and I will return. My check engine light came on which caught me off guard so I took my vehicle to AAMCO to get it serviced, they were very professional and detailed found out my transmission was going out, I let them replace my transmission and my car is running like when I first purchased it. They did a great job Thanks so much
